Ambassador Programme Terms

These terms apply in addition to HeartTold's general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and govern your participation as a partner ("Ambassador") in the HeartTold Ambassador Programme. By confirming your interest and being approved into the programme, you agree to these terms.

1. The Partnership

HeartTold will provide you with full access to the product and a unique referral link and/or promo code. This relationship is non-exclusive on both sides: you are free to work with other brands, and we work with other Ambassadors. There is no minimum posting requirement, content quota, or deadline. You decide if and when to share HeartTold with your audience.

2. Commission

Commission terms are agreed individually with each Ambassador and confirmed in writing (email is sufficient) before your referral link goes live. Commission is calculated on successful, paid subscription payments attributed to your unique code or link, and is not owed on free trials, refunded payments, or fraudulent signups. Commission continues to accrue for as long as a referred customer's subscription remains active, unless your individual agreement states otherwise.

HeartTold may change the commission structure for new referrals with 30 days' notice. Changes will not apply retroactively to customers you have already referred.

3. Content and Disclosure Obligations

You are responsible for ensuring any content about HeartTold complies with advertising and disclosure law in your audience's jurisdiction. This commonly includes:

  • United States: clear and conspicuous disclosure of your material connection to HeartTold in line with the FTC's Endorsement Guides (e.g. "#ad" or "#HeartToldPartner" placed where it cannot be missed, not buried in a hashtag block).
  • United Kingdom: compliance with the ASA/CAP Code and CMA guidance on influencer marketing — content must be obviously identifiable as a marketing communication (e.g. "#ad"), including where you have received free access rather than cash payment.
  • Platform rules: use the platform's own paid-partnership or sponsored-content labelling tools where available (e.g. Instagram "Paid partnership", YouTube "includes paid promotion").

You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant HeartTold a non-exclusive licence to reshare, repost, or quote your content (with attribution) for our own marketing. You agree to represent HeartTold's features accurately — you can share your genuine opinion, but claims about what the product does must be true.

4. No Guarantee of Earnings

HeartTold makes no promise about how much commission you will earn. Results depend on your audience and how you choose to share HeartTold, both of which are entirely up to you.

5. Ending the Partnership

Either party can end this partnership at any time, for any reason, by emailing the other. On termination, your referral link is deactivated for new signups, but commission already earned on active, previously-referred customers continues to be paid under Section 2 unless we agree otherwise in writing.

6. Data

We will share referral performance data relevant to your own account (signups, conversions, commission owed) with you. We handle any personal data you provide (e.g. your email) in line with our Privacy Policy.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, consistent with our general Terms of Service. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer where applicable.
